Logging Discarded Stock in the Aura Portal
The Discard page is used to record stock items that have been discarded due to accidents, expiration, or general wastage.
Viewing Discarded Stock
The page displays a table of discarded items for the selected date range. You can:
- Set a custom date range or use quick ranges such as Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, or longer
Logging a Discard
Example scenario: A carton of twelve eggs was dropped yesterday.
To log discarded stock:
- Click Discard Stock to open a searchable list of stock items.
- Select the items to discard and click Next.
- Configure the discard:
- Date and Time of discard
- Prepped or Bulk Quantity being discarded
- Optional Notes
| The distinction between Prepped and Bulk is important, especially if the item has a wastage percentage applied. |
Click Discard Items to finalize the entry.
The discarded stock will now appear in the Discard list, where it can also be deleted if needed.
