The report at a glance
The date line shows the trading day window used to pick the cashups. If your store's close of trade is after midnight (say 02:00), the line reads From Mon 19 Oct 2026 02:00 until Tue 20 Oct 2026 02:00 * and the footnote at the bottom of the page explains that sales between midnight and your close of trade belong to the previous day.
- Orders not in a cashup: a warning list of orders that are in no posted driver, waiter or till cashup (only when there are any).
- Orders included: one page per driver cashup, starting with the driver's name and the orders they handled.
- Shifts and wages: when they worked and what they earned.
- Payments: every payment on their orders, split into prepayments into the till and payments the employee received.
- Employee cashup calculation: from the order total to what is due after wages.
- Non-cash payments and cash to store: the final cash to hand over and whether the cashup is settled.
The page footer shows when and by whom the report was run, your store ID, the report version and the page number.
Orders not in a cashup
This list appears at the top of the report only when there are orders that have not been included in a posted driver or waiter cashup or a posted till cashup. Orders are grouped by the employee on the order. It is not limited to the dates you picked: it lists every such order, so old problems keep showing until they are fixed.

1 Employee
The driver or waiter the order was assigned to. No employee assigned means the order has no driver or waiter and was also not paid into a till.
2 Invoice number
Click it to open the order in the Invoice Audit report and see what happened to it. Usually the employee was never cashed up, or their cashup was never posted into a till. Cash them up and post the cashup, and the order drops off this list.
Orders included
Each driver cashup starts on a new page with the driver's name, followed by every order linked to them in that cashup. Voided orders are left out.

1 Employee name
The driver's name, with their short POS name in brackets when it is different. Unknown means the employee has no name set up.
2 Links
Click an invoice number to open the order in the Invoice Audit report, or a phone number to open that customer in the Individual Customer report.
3 Count and total
The number of orders and their total value, including tax and delivery charges but not tips. This Invoice total is what the employee is accountable for. If the employee had no orders the line reads No deliveries were recorded in this shift.
Shifts and wages
Two boxes side by side: the employee's clock-in and clock-out times for this cashup, and the wages worked out from them.
| Start | End | Hours worked |
|---|---|---|
| Mon 19 Oct 2026 17:00 | Mon 19 Oct 2026 22:15 | 5.25 |

| x Hourly wage: 1 | 30.00 |
| = Time wages: | 157.50 |
| Additional wages: 2 | 50.00 |
| Total wages: | 207.50 |
1 Hourly wage
The hourly wage on the employee's profile. Time wages are worked out from the exact minutes on the clock, rounded to the cent.
2 Additional wages
Any extra amount entered for the employee when they cashed up on the POS (for example a per-delivery fee or a fuel allowance).
Payments
Every payment on the employee's orders, grouped first by who received the money and then by payment type.

1 Prepayments into till
Payments that went straight into a till or were paid online before the order went out (Prepayment into till? is Yes). The employee never handled this money, so it is taken off what they owe.
2 Payments received by driver
Payments the employee took from the customer: cash, card on a portable machine, and so on. Payment types use your store's payment method names. Cash Receipts is cash; Online Payment is an order paid through an online ordering account; Account - <sales channel> is a post-paid account.
3 Split payment
The customer paid one order with more than one payment type, so the order shows once under each type. The invoice payments of a split order add up to its invoice total.
4 Tips
Only tips paid by card or another non-cash method are shown. A cash tip stays in the employee's pocket, so it shows as 0.00 and never enters the calculation. Cash payments are shown after change was given.
Employee cashup calculation
Works out what the employee is accountable for, after prepayments and wages.
| Total (including tips): | 1 187.40 |
| Less tips: | -30.00 |
| Invoice total (excluding tips): | 1 157.40 |
| Less prepayments: 1 | -189.90 |
| Employee takings: | 967.50 |
| Add float: 2 | 0 |
| Less wages: | -207.50 |
| Payments due to store: 3 | 760.00 |
1 Less prepayments
The Prepayments into till subtotal from the payments section.
2 Add float
Always 0: the report does not track a float given to the employee. If you gave your driver a float, take it back separately.
3 Payments due to store or employee
Employee takings less wages. It reads Payments due to store when the employee owes the store, and Payments due to employee when wages are more than the takings. This figure still includes the card and other non-cash payments the employee took, which the next section takes off.
Non-cash payments and cash to store
The bottom line of the page: how much cash actually changes hands, and whether the cashup has been posted.
| Less non-cash payments 1 | -542.50 |
| Card: | -542.50 |
| Cash to store: 2 | 217.50 |
| Settled. This driver cashup was posted into shift 2-118 3 | |
1 Less non-cash payments
Card and other non-cash payments the employee received, including their tips. That money went to the store's bank account, not into the employee's hand, and the card tips are owed to the employee, so both come off. If there are none the report says * there are no non-cash payments *.
2 Cash to store or cash to employee
Employee takings less wages less non-cash payments and card tips. Cash to store is what the employee hands over; Cash to employee is what you pay them. In the example Sam collected 455.00 in cash, and the store owes Sam 207.50 in wages and 30.00 in card tips, so Sam hands over 455.00 β 237.50 = 217.50.
3 Settled
Once the employee cashup is posted into a till shift, the report names that till and shift number. Until then it reads After this employee cashup is posted into a till, then that till must also be posted.

Frequently asked questions
Why is one of my drivers missing from the report?
A cashup is included on the trading day it was started (when the employee clocked in), so check the dates. Only employees with Can do deliveries ticked on their employee profile are shown. If a driver is missing, check that box. Waiters are cashed up on the Daily Cashup report. If the employee never cashed up at all, their orders appear under Warning instead.
Why is an order listed under Warning?
It isn't in a posted driver or waiter cashup or a posted till cashup. Cash up the employee, post their cashup into a till shift and post the till; the order then drops off. The list ignores the dates you picked, so an old order keeps showing until it is sorted out. Click the invoice number to see the order in the Invoice Audit report.
Why are cash tips always 0.00?
A cash tip goes straight into the employee's pocket, so the store owes them nothing for it. The report only shows tips paid by card or another non-cash method, because that money went to the store and has to be paid out to the employee.
What is the difference between Payments due to store and Cash to store?
Payments due to store is what the employee is accountable for after wages, before taking off the card and other non-cash payments they collected. Cash to store takes those off (and gives the employee their card tips), so it is the cash that actually changes hands.
An order is still unpaid. How does the report treat it?
The order counts in the Invoice total but has no payment line, so the report treats it as cash the employee should have collected and it adds to Cash to store. Settle the payment on the POS first, then run the report again.
Why doesn't the order total match the Daily Cashup report?
The Daily Cashup report counts sales by the trading day of the sale. This report counts orders by the cashup they belong to, which follows the day the employee's cashup was started. An order taken after close of trade during a late shift stays with that shift here.
The hourly wage looks wrong for an old shift. Why?
The report uses the hourly wage on the employee's profile now, even for older shifts. If you changed the wage since, rerunning an old date shows the new rate.
What does the * after the date mean?
Your store's close of trade is not midnight. Sales between midnight and your close of trade time belong to the previous trading day, and the footnote at the bottom of the page says so.
