Financial - Integrated Payments

Lists every payment that went through your integrated payment devices in the dates you choose, including the attempts that failed, so you can check what was asked for against what actually came in. For store managers, franchisees and accountants.

Running the report

1
Open Reports and choose Integrated Payments under Financial.
2
Choose your Select your start date and your end date. Both start on today's date.
3
Run the report. Your integrated payments appear grouped by payment method, then by status (Completed first), then by day, with subtotals.
TipUse this report when a customer says a card payment went through but you cannot find it, or when you want to see why a payment failed. For your overall payment totals for a day, use the Recon report.

Report options

Select your start date

The first day you want to see. The report starts at the beginning of that trading day (midnight, or your close of trade time if you set one). The default is today.

end date

The last day you want to see. The whole of that day is included, up to the end of that trading day. The default is today. To see a single day, choose the same date for both options.

NoteThe report works for the store you are signed in to, so there is no store option. Times are shown in your store's local time.

Mon 19 Oct 2026 00:00  to  Sun 25 Oct 2026 23:59

The dates are the first and last moments of the days you chose, in your store's local time. If your store closes trade at a time other than midnight, the times show your close of trade (for example 04:00) and a star (*) appears at the end of the line. The footnote at the bottom of the page explains the star.

  1. The payments list: one line per payment, grouped by payment method, status and day.
  2. Failed and other payments: payments that did not complete, and why.
  3. Subtotals: amounts asked for and received for each day and each status.

The payments list

Every payment is listed once, under its payment method (the name your store uses, for example Card), then its status, then its trading day. Completed payments always come first under each method.

1 Date & time

When the payment was started on the card machine, in your store's local time, written as day, month, year and the time (for example 20 Oct 2026 12:41).

2 Invoice number / Device name

The invoice the payment belongs to. Underlined invoice numbers can be clicked to open the Invoice Audit report for that invoice. Some older stores do not show invoice numbers here. They show the name of the till or device instead, which is not underlined and cannot be clicked.

3 POS #

The number of the till the payment was taken on.

4 System message

Blank for a completed payment. For a payment that did not complete, the reason reported by the card machine or payment provider (see Failed and other payments).

5 Amount requested and Amount received

Amount requested is what the till asked the card machine to take. Amount received is what actually came through. On a completed payment the two are the same.

Failed and other payments

The report does not hide payments that did not work. Each status gets its own heading under the payment method, after Completed, in alphabetical order (for example Failed, or Refunded when a payment was refunded). Their amounts are subtotalled separately, so they never mix with the money you received.

Card - Failed 21 Oct 2026 subtotal:1 250.000.00
Card - Failed subtotal:1 590.000.00

Look at the example: invoice 10497 failed at 19:30 and then completed at 19:33, and invoice 10530 was declined at 18:14 and then completed at 18:20. The customer was only charged once for each. The failed line is the first attempt, and the completed line is the one that counts as money received.

TipThe System message is the best clue to why a payment failed. If a lot of payments fail with the same message, contact your payment provider.

Subtotals

There are two levels of subtotal, and both add up Amount requested and Amount received:

  1. The day subtotal, labelled with the payment method, the status and the date (for example Card - Completed 20 Oct 2026 subtotal:).
  2. The status subtotal for the whole period you chose (for example Card - Completed subtotal:).

The Completed subtotal of Amount received is the money your integrated payment device took in for that payment method. There is no overall total across different payment methods, so add the Completed subtotals together if you need one.

NoteOnly integrated payments are listed. Cash and payment methods that are not linked to a card machine or payment provider do not appear in this report.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I find a payment that I know the customer made?

First check the dates: the payment must have been started inside the days you chose, in your store's local time. Then check the payment method heading, because the report groups by the name your store gives each method. Finally remember that only integrated payments are listed. Cash and payments taken on a machine that is not linked to AuraPOS are not in this report.

Why does the same invoice appear more than once?

Each attempt to pay is its own line. A customer whose card was declined and who then paid successfully shows once under Failed and once under Completed. A bill that was split across several cards also shows one line for each card.

What is the difference between Amount requested and Amount received?

Amount requested is what the till asked the card machine to take. Amount received is what came through. For a completed payment they match. For a failed payment nothing was received.

Why doesn't this report match my Recon report?

The Recon report is the one to trust for your payment totals. This report is a detailed list of every card machine attempt, including failed ones, and it groups payments by trading day. Only the Completed subtotals are money received, so compare those with Recon, not the failed ones.

Why does it show a device name instead of an invoice number?

Some older stores show the name of the till or device instead of the invoice number. In that case the entry is not underlined and cannot be clicked. Stores on the newer system show the invoice number, and you can click it to see the full invoice.

A payment made after midnight is listed under the previous date. Is that wrong?

No. Payments are grouped by trading day. If your close of trade is later than midnight (for example 04:00), a payment at 01:00 on the 21st belongs to the 20th trading day, so it is listed under the 20th. The Date & time column still shows the real time it was made.

Why is there no grand total at the bottom?

The report subtotals each payment method's status for the period, but does not add different payment methods together. Add the Completed subtotals if you need one overall figure.
